When Megan was 19 years old she was on track to make the national rowing team, until her coach told her she would be a better rower if she just weighed less. She trained more, ate less, and watched her body break down until her ribs broke under the stress. Somewhere along the line she realized this wasn’t how she wanted to live, and chose to forgo her dream of the Olympics. Meghan and discuss how it feels to give up your dream and what you feel is your identity. Meghan gets honest about how to move on and how running gave her peace and brought the fun back in sport.

April went from not being able to run 60 seconds to running the Chicago Marathon. When she was in the darkest place in her life she buckled down and got out the door. She didn’t know anything about running, she just wanted to have peace in her mind and to love life again, and she did!
