At 51, Lisa stood with a cigarette in her hand and watched an 80 year old cross the finish line of a marathon. In that moment, something changed for her and a few years later she would be racing distances up to 50km in the trails! Lisa tells her story of learning how to run and finding her limits are way beyond what she had expected. She fearlessly takes on new challenges even while going through a major foot break and needing a plate and 6 screws! She is one of the most uplifting spirits I’ve spoken to and will leave you both smiling and raring to take on a challenge of your own.

April went from not being able to run 60 seconds to running the Chicago Marathon. When she was in the darkest place in her life she buckled down and got out the door. She didn’t know anything about running, she just wanted to have peace in her mind and to love life again, and she did! She is now 4 years in the game and loving what running has done for her and her life.
