Things like open sores all over her body, hair loss, joint stiffness, facial lesions and rashes. In 2001 she was finally diagnosed with Systemic Lupus and main symptom was joint stiffness and extreme sensitivity to the sun. So, she retired from soccer and road running to find shade in the trails.
