Filsan Abdiaman is a Fitness Professional, Brazillian jiu-jitsu enthusiast, ultra-runner and Brooks Running Canada Brand Ambassador. She discovered her passion for running as a form of therapy to deal with depression and anxiety attacks after a breakup in 2013. Now racing ultras and drawing attention to mental health (and recently, eating disorders) — her experience has allowed her to pass on her new found joy and wisdom to other women.
